Methodology
Two systems. Never mixed.
AestheticBid is a public ranking platform for med spas in Miami. We publish a competitive Paid Ranking and, entirely separately, measure AI Visibility. There is no overall score and no hidden weighting.
System one
Paid Ranking
Position is determined only by the current publicly disclosed competitive amount.
How position is determined
- Who receives a position
- Only businesses currently competing. Everything else has no position.
- How the order is set
- Businesses are ordered by their current publicly disclosed amount, highest first. Nothing else is considered.
- Minimum entry
- $25 to enter the ranking from unranked.
- Overtaking
- Moving ahead of a business requires its current amount plus $25.
- What the amount means
- The amount shown is the current competitive amount, not a cumulative total of everything ever paid.
- History
- Previous amounts and position changes are recorded as competition events and kept separate from current values.
- Pausing
- Pausing releases the position immediately and businesses below move up. No refund is issued.
- Resuming
- A resumed business returns as unranked. The previous amount does not become active again — a new entry is required.
System two
AI Visibility
Measured by testing AI recommendation queries for Miami med spas.
How AI Visibility is measured
We evaluate how businesses appear when someone asks an AI assistant for a recommendation in Miami. Each business is checked against a fixed set of queries, and we record whether it is mentioned and in which position.

Metrics we report
- AI Visibility Score
- A 0–100 summary of how present a business is across the tested queries.
- Appearance Rate
- The share of tested queries in which the business is mentioned.
- Average AI Position
- The mean position within the answers where the business appears.
- Queries Tested
- How many recommendation queries were run for that business.
- Last Checked
- When the reported results were last collected.
Transparency
What we disclose
What is paid, what is measured, and what we deliberately do not do.
What is paid
- Position in the Active Ranking, and nothing else.
- Every competing amount is published next to the business.
- Entry, overtakes and pauses are recorded as competition events.
What is measured
- Appearance in AI recommendation queries for Miami med spas.
- Position within those answers, query by query.
- Reported independently of any payment.
What we never do
- We never combine the two systems into an overall score.
- We never let payment change AI Visibility.
- We never let AI Visibility change a position.
- We never present position as a measure of quality.
- We never present historical amounts as current amounts.
- We never hide what a business is paying.
